Generator sets
Compare applications, indicative specifications, videos and official catalogs before requesting the engineering for your project.
Choosing a generator set depends on much more than rated kilowatts. What matters is the duty cycle (emergency, prime or continuous), the load profile and its starting inrush, the power factor, the fuel available on site, the permitted noise level and environmental conditions. In Colombia, altitude is decisive: a diesel engine loses power as elevation increases, so equipment sized for the coast does not perform the same way in Bogotá or on the high plateau.
POWERTEC works with Honda, Cummins, Perkins, John Deere, Volvo and Deutz engines and Stamford, Leroy Somer and Marathon generators, in open, soundproofed, mobile and synchronized configurations. The ranges published on each spec sheet are indicative and help frame the project; the final selection is confirmed with a load survey and engineering validation before a quote is issued.

Equipment that completes generation and the safe delivery of power in the field.
A generation system is only reliable if power reaches the point of consumption protected and controlled. Low-voltage distribution panels built to NEMA/ANSI/IEEE standards, automatic transfer switches, transformers from 50 to 2,500 KVA, tanks from 1,000 to 5,000 gallons with containment berms and 500 BBL frac tanks complete that chain, together with portable lighting and spare parts to sustain the operation over time.
